Jeff Probst has given hints in his blogs and tweets that the 6th episode is important. Maybe the one where the returning player comes back from Redemption Island.

Neither Russell or Rob make it to the finals.
Speculation is that Russell does leave sooner than Rob.

wonder how long they make it?

Oh, I thought Rob and Russell were immune, they couldn't win the million but were being paid to 'lead' their teams.

I don't know what this is about but it looks important.

I have no idea what the heck they are talking about but I did see the BIG Russell/Rob commercial during the stellers/jets game.

?? Sounds like the person who spoiled for Missyae is Russell... or it's being said that he was.
I do know that Missyae has some legal troubles with CBS/Survivor etc. A lawsuit - it was dropped.
I don't think jail is in the works. That's stupid. I doubt it's against the law to spoil a silly reality tv show.

I'm sure some of the faithful Sucksters here can tell more.

I don't get it either. It appears to be more of a personal fight between Russell and missyae, kind of like a board war.

I think a lot of the spoilers for Survivor and other reality shows are leaked by production. Instead of a faceforward PR plan, they use the power of the internet to "leak" which makes the info seem much more interesting. "Everyone likes to know secrets" seems to be their motto.

Maybe this: Russell makes a great foe. No one is going to get mad at anyone taking on feisty Russell so this is a win-win.

After all, as Nancy said, it is about ratings and they have new competition in a show also requires watching before it gets spoiled.

In previous seasons when it was on Thursday I would watch Survivor and tape Bones, or watch Idol and tape something else because no one is going to "ruin" a drama but I have found it serves little purpose for me to tape a reality show as I will know what happened before I get to watch it.

I just find it really weird how Jim ( missyae) is so pissed at Russell.
This is the way I understand it:
Russell was giving him information for spoilers
Mark Burnett and the company sued Jim/Missyae because of it.
Apparently it was a scare tactic to get Jim to tell him who his source was.
Jim caved in ( even though I really don't think he was in any legal jeopardy) and told.
THe suit was dismissed.

Now, Jim is mad at Russell. Obviously Russell got pissed at him for telling on him, but Russell is now open to a big breech of contract suit. While Russell DID do wrong, Missyae was never under contract so he was OK... he obviously didn't want to fight the big money.

Hantz also gave Jim false spoilers for S22 - something about Kimbo Slice and Carrie Prejean being on BRob's tribe, with Kimbo clashing with BRob and being blindsided at the first TC when BRob uses an idol found by his ally Carrie.

Jim fell for it hook, line and sinker and was embarrassed. I believe this is why he gave up Hantz's name as his source and why the war with Hantz started.

Since he lost Hantz as a reliable source, Jim has few spoilers to share for S22. His tweets about Hantz never coming back to play Survivor is pure BS - if Burnett and Probst and CBS think Hantz will help ratings, he will surely be invited back for any ASS2 season.

Burnett will give Hantz a big lecture and a slap on the wrist, and that's it.

My mistake. I thought RUSSELL WILL NEVER BE BACK ON SURVIVOR EVER and got all happy. You're right, JP & MB are so obviously hard for him he'll be back to ruin other seasons for sure.

After Survivor fan Jim Early was sued for revealing the show’s secrets, he pointed a finger at one of its most popular players, Russell Hantz, as his source. Andy Dehnart reports:

• Mark Burnett Productions and CBS sued Early for successfully spoiling Seasons 19 and 20.
• Early began talking to Russell Hantz on the phone, who would tease information. Once Hantz saw the attention the information got on the Survivor Sucks message boards, Early said, “he just started coming out and telling me what happened: who was leaving, who won challenges."
• The Survivor cast members’ contract states that contestants may not reveal "the elimination of contestants and the selection of any winner." The penalty for doing so is "liquidated damages" of $5 million.
• Lawyers, according to Early, wer less interested in him that where he had gotten the information. "I gave him an email from Russell spoiling something,” Early said. “They were very happy to get that email, and I have many, many more."
• An email message provided to The Daily Beast by Early that he says is from Hantz identifies the elimination order of two Survivor Samoa contestants, while another message says Hantz will call Early with accurate information about the show.
• Early told The Daily Beast that he gave up Hantz and is talking about him now "because of his attitude about the whole thing, and because Russell tried to implicate another player, an innocent player, who wasn't giving information."
