| I just finished watching Season 2 on Demand on Showtime. SO GOOD!!!! It's about a woman with Multiple Personality Disorder (played by Toni Collette) and her family. Her husband Max is played by the same guy that was Carrie's Aiden on Sex and the City (John Corbette). I can't wait till Season 3, which they are filming right now.
I never watched Season One. Did anyone else? _________________ “It's not your job to like me - it's mine” Byron Katie

| LOVE SEASON ONE, definitely watch season 1. Season 2 didn't impress me the same but I love Toni COllette so I will watch her in anything. |

| Do you have Netflix Moody? I know with the on-demands now alot don't have this but I tell you I love it and I keep it just for this reason. I watch sooo many shows i have never watched, or catch up on shows that are coming back on that i might have missed a season and now with the live streaming on to your computer or tv it really is something to look into if you like to watch tv series.
Anyway, keep checking on-demand though, once season 2 is done they might re-run one. |

| I watch. Definitely catch up on season 1 and get all the background..Toni Collette does a great job with all the roles and I like how they write the dialogue for the daughter. I love all these cable shows because they air the eps without breaks, but then you have to wait forever for a new season. |

| I'm looking forward to the new season.
I haven't been watching Showtime lately and didn't realize it was returning until last night. |

| First episode was good. I think it's interesting that Tara as Tara has no interest in going to find this brother, and her husband hasn't talked about it either. Her not so bright sister is the one to bring it up. Of course Tara's alters are coming out!
They are letting people without showtime watch previous episodes of this and Nurse Jackie free on Demand, trying to pull them in. _________________ “It's not your job to like me - it's mine” Byron Katie

| I don't know if this show will make it to another season. The ratings for this and Nurse Jackie have been abysmal. |

I am hoping people will "discover" these shows late, like I did. I am finding this season to be a bit unrealistic... she knows who the abuser is and Buck goes looking for him? That is something that the whole family would know needed to be addressed. I mean, two seasons of us agonizing over what happened to her, she finds out she had a brother and the "poof" storyline lays in background? |

Showtime Cancels United States of Tara
Monday – May 23, 2011 – 3:05pm
United States of Tara is being canceled after 3 seasons, Deadline reports. The comedy-drama featured actress Toni Collette, 38, and chronicled her character's struggle with dissociative identity disorder. Collette won an Emmy in 2009 for her portrayal of Tara, the wife and mother with a total of six individual personalities.
Tara declined in ratings during its third sesaon, and according to the site, only averaging 326,000 viewers in its Monday 10:30 p.m. slot.
Contrarily, Showtime has renewed the dark comedy series Nurse Jackie for a fourth season. Edie Falco, who plays the title character, won an Emmy in 2010 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on the show.

| Darn. Hopefully she will get to the bottom of her abuse before the season ends. I do like Nurse Jackie better. _________________ “It's not your job to like me - it's mine” Byron Katie
