Rizzoli & Isles

I don't know if any of you have read the series of books by Tess Gerrittsen featuring police detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles, they are basically great crime thrillers, my favorite kind of book, I love them! so I was so excited to see a commercial that they have been made into a TV series this July on TNT. Angie Harmon (used to be on law and order and women's murder club) is playing Jane. Can't wait! Here is the official site-

I just saw this commercial and didn't make the connection to the books. I am excited for this series. I was bummed when Women's Murder Club got cancelled.

me too, I loved Women's Murder Club, in that case I actually liked the tv series better than James' Patterson's rather cookie cutter books (he seems to write about one a week now lol). (But I still love the Alex Cross series.)

Yes the Tess Gerrittsen books are great, I think it will be a good series!

i finally got around to watching the first episode of this series which premiered earlier this week (damn you Big Brother) and I thought it was great! As a big fan of the books and their characters it was very faithful to both, I loved it.
