Biography


Kevin's proudest accomplishment comes from one of the most trying times in his life, growing up a Jehovah's Witness. He was eventually excommunicated at age 21. Cut off from his family and friends, he didn’t let it destroy him. Instead, he found happiness and thrived. He currently works as a graphic designer.

People are sometimes thrown off by his exotic look and cannot determine what nationality he is. He affectionately calls himself "blackanese" as a tribute to his African-American and Japanese heritage. He describes himself as ghetto, fabulous and inappropriate, and warns his fellow Houseguests that, although he doesn't have a temper, he can get bitchy. He knows how to find the slightest flaw in a person and magnify it for all to see.

Kevin believes the most difficult part of the game will be its duration, but he’ll overcome it by setting mini goals and pacing himself. He’s also not too proud to throw a few battles if it means winning the war. After growing up in the closet, he knows he has the tools to deceive anyone who gets in his way.

Aside from the money, he has a bigger prize in mind: it's his hope that somewhere the parents with whom he lost touch can smile knowing what their now grown-up son has accomplished.

You can be excommunicated from the Jehovah Witnesses ? Wow, I didn't know that. And does "cut off" mean "ostracized", just like the Amish or whoever ?

I was reading on another tread something Steven BB10 said about Allison G. putting Kevin in the house this season and he (Steven) seemed so mean...what has happened to Steven lately? He comes across as just plain jealous and doesn't seem to be a happy person. I absolutely loved him on BB10...but not so much anymore.

I'm either going to love this guy or hate him. I'll have to see the feeds before deciding.

The more I see his interviews, the more I like him. I understand the whole Jehovah Witness stuff too. So I have a bit of a soft spot for the guy. I really hope he doesn't become a jerk. LOL.

It irked me a little when Steven said that.

Gay people have different personalities just like straight people do.
I can't believe a gay man would get so upset because other gay men, who are more flamboyant than him, are cast on a reality show. They were cast because I am sure the producers saw a fun, outspoken personality during the interview process.
(some weren't so much fun on the actual show but I won't mention names )

So get over it, Steven!!... support ALL gays and their many different personalities!

I love this guy. He plans to tune down the "ghettoness". Loves Janelle. Loves Drama. My kind of guy.

I just became a fan of his although that is subject to change based on future actions. He is funny. I loved how he said he speaks Geekanese.
