Day Seven - so far

Big Brother has announced the challenges for the second day of the "rich and famous" shopping task.

LaToya and Tommy have been rehearsing for a new reality show called Celebrity Condiments: On Ice.
In order to pass, they must perform their routine to the satisfaction of Big Brother later today. Speaking to La Toya about his troubles on the ice, Tommy said: "Just when you think you're getting comfortable, you fall over and ker-laaang."

Tommy became frustrated this afternoon as he practised for his upcoming 'Dancing on Ice' task with La Toya.
Big Brother has set the pair a routine that will see them dance and skate around a makeshift ice-rink in a secret room next to the house. Tommy has found it increasingly hard to keep up with La Toya, arguing that her previous experience as a dancer has served her well. As frustrations mounted, La Toya turned to Tommy and said: "I can’t slow down to your rhythm. You have to speed up to mine. If I slow down we’ll miss out on the beat of the song."

During a short break Tommy told the other housemates: "This routine will make me look stupid. Not La Toya though, she’s got rhythm."


Ben and Michelle have been dubbed as celebrity couple "Benchelle" and will have to adopt and take care of ten babies in the Big Brother crèche. As well as looking after the babies to the satisfaction of Big Brother, Ben must also tattoo their names on Michelle's body for the pair to pass.

Coolio has accused Lucy of "acting like a little kid" after a disagreement resulted in her getting upset and leaving the room. Lucy had been taking it in turns with a couple of the housemates, including Coolio, to stay in a press pen as part of the 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' task.After a brief disagreement over who should take her place, Lucy walked into the bedroom sniffling and wiping her eyes. Coolio told the group she was 'acting like a child', but Ulrika stood up for her, saying: "No she isn’t, she’s just exhausted."

Ulrika then followed Lucy into the shower room, where Lucy admitted she wanted to leave in the first eviction after looking at her partner’s photo too much. Ulrika said she understood and encouraged her to merely imagine being somewhere else. "Imagine you’re on holiday somewhere else. Somewhere hot, but not some place that would give you heat-rash. You’re only upset because you’re tired."

When the feeds are shown, this is what's going on. From what I've seen, the drama usually takes place late at night after they've tossed back a few or they're over-tired from trying to complete a task.

This shopping task is to receive more than the standard rations. Not sure how horrible it will be for the celebrity version, but it could get pretty nasty with the regular versions. One week they forgot to order t.p. LOL

They'll be judged and cannot fail more than two tasks. Otherwise, it's peanuts and beer instead of caviar and champagne.

My pleasure Moody! I love sharing my addictions with others I was just coming back to mention the diary room sessions. They're a blast whether it's a special treat for a mate or just a regular sit down to chat. One of the famous ones was Nikki. If I can find the link I'll hook you up. She was the most annoying, entertaining mate on BBUK IMO...although they've had quite a few characters.

As far as eviction, it is up to the public. They actually have legal gambling for this ... odds are set, bets placed, etc. It's so different than here.

I've been following some of the chat on different sites. Surprisingly, Coolio, Verne, LaToya, all have strong supporters. LaToya is odds on favorite to win this season lol

She actually finished the year in fifth place out of 14 LOL They had a 'house next door' that season and a lot of other things. I think you could easily go to youtube and put in nikki bbuk and get a lot of hits.

Thought this was interesting. This is how they do the eviction, which is going on now...

Tonight sees Lucy and Ulrika go head to head in the first public vote of the series, however, it’s tough to predict which of the Big Brother beauties will leave the house first - with eviction polls putting their pair pretty much neck and neck.
In our current eviction poll, 51% of you think Ulrika will get the boot. However, online bookies are torn with the eviction vote - some deciding not to list it in their specials as it could be too risky to bet on. One online bookmaker has Ulrika and Lucy both at 5/6 odds.

On other fronts:

Tommy has questioned whether Big Brother producers made the right decision in putting Lucy into the Big Brother house.

Ulrika and Lucy face the public vote tonight and Lucy looks to be the celebrities' pick for eviction.

"Let's take Lucy for example," Tommy told Terry in the living area. "I think [Big Brother bosses] expected her to be more outspoken. She's prim and proper, almost."

"They must be a little disappointed," he added.

Terry defended Lucy by telling Tommy that "it's not the fashion amongst that generation to be opinionated", and called Lucy "a nice girl".

Tina and Ben also revealed that they felt Lucy had failed to impress the public and would be the one to leave the Big Brother house tonight, telling Ulrika she "shouldn't prepare for going home".

Coolio talked about his past romances with La Toya last night, as the pair's friendship appeared to be blossoming.

Coolio has offended Tina, Ulrika, Mutya, Michelle and Lucy this week, but bonded with La Toya.

While giving her a manicure Coolio said: "I get to touch your hands, so this is a thrill for me."

Coolio then said he hoped her boyfriend wouldn't mind, before Jackson informed the rapper that she is single.

"Alone is no way to spend your life," Coolio told the housemate. "We gotta start hanging out."

However, he later told Terry that La Toya was the only housemate he would "hit on" because he likes "a woman with money". (can we say oink!)

Lucy has said that Coolio has such an inflated opinion of himself that that he probably imagines that he's Jay-Z.

Ulrika, Mutya, Tina and Lucy were sitting in the luxury bedroom discussing Coolio's approach to women and his 'gangsta' credentials.

"He probably thought when he came in here that us girls would go 'he's so hard' and we just went...," Ulrika said as she shrugged her shoulders.

Lucy noted that while he thinks he understands women, he has yet to appeal to the ladies in the house and seems to have a misjudged opinion of himself.

She said: "He always talks about girls, and yet he's so far removed from being an attractive person. You know they say anorexics look in the mirror and see a fat person? Do you think he looks in the mirror and the reflection's Jay-Z?"

Mutya also agreed, lamenting Coolio's insistence on talking about his intimate personal life.

"I don't want to hear about someone's sex life in detail."

Ulrika did however note that Coolio “occasionally had moments of lucidity”.

In a closely fought contest 57 per cent of you chose the posh glamour girl to be the first to leave the House.

Despite a week long ribbing from Coolio, she's held her own, even if she was locked in a press pen with him for 24 hours.

And she looked like she couldn't care less when Terry picked her as having the least talent. "It's true," she agreed, but she still managed to reveal a great north-east accent when she was pretending to be Michelle.

So she probably won't mind a bit that you've kicked her out this week. Well, on second thoughts.

I actually missed Lucy's taking leave of the BB house. I was under a blanket, fast asleep. My weekend is starting with the lovely cold from little man. Well worth the juicy hugs and kisses though

Lucy wanted out. All the celebs are paid a decent amount of money to appear and when they leave doesn't effect the amount. Whoever was crying was either jealous or will miss her company lol

I wish our BB would just play bird sounds whenever we sang instead of the dreaded fish/fireplace.

Interview with Lucy on being evicted (photos at The Star)


LUSCIOUS Lucy Pinder stormed out of the Big Brother house last night and claimed the show’s bosses turned her into a big bore.


The Daily Star babe was given the boot with 57% of the vote after going up against Ulrika Jonsson, 41, in the first eviction of the series.


Despite admitting she was gutted, angry Lucy reckons she was made to look dull by producers.


She blasted: “I was made to look boring by clever editing. They never showed me having a laugh like the others. They made me look as dull as dishwater.”


Bosses made Lucy, 25, talk politics during a task in which the other celebs got to showcase their talent.


And fans never got a glimpse of her famous 32G boobs because none of the footage was screened.


They even axed the 24-hour streaming which meant viewers never saw Lucy’s prized assets even though she peeled off every day for a shower.

The only thing they did focus on was her meltdown after a clash with rapper Coolio, who made her cry.


She said: “I am so embarrassed that I cried on TV.


“That was the one thing I said I never wanted to do but things got too much for me.


“I hadn’t slept for hours and Coolio was going on and on trying to wind me up.”


Coolio, 45, made a play for the glamour girl and even begged her for sexual favours. But Lucy said the thought of it made her sick and said the singer was the most annoying housemate.

She added: “Coolio is so irritating, he has got no social awareness.


He knows he’s irritating the tits off everyone.”


Lucy did her best to spice things up and even admitted she fancied movie star Megan Fox, 22.


But one woman she wished had been in the house for longer was fellow Daily Star babe Michelle Marsh, 26, who briefly appeared as part of this week’s shopping task.


Lucy added: “It would have been brilliant for her to stay longer. She’s my best friend and I would have happily shared my bed with her.”


The lass said she got on really well with Scouser Tina Malone, 45 and Michelle Heaton, 25. And she admitted that listening to 40-year-old Verne Troyer's Hollywood tales was fascinating.


She added: “He has worked with some amazing people and I could have listened to his stories all day.


“Everyone was really touched when he told us about working with Heath Ledger and the effect his death had on him.”


Now she cannot wait to get back to business by stripping off for her favourite newspaper.


She said: “The Daily Star readers voted me their best Page 3 girl. I can’t wait to do some more saucy shoots for them.”

Housemates received their task for today. A choreographed exercise routine. Ulrika will lead due to her back injury. If successful they will receive THREE tokens.

All mates must take part in the task; Ulrika told Verne to go to the DR if there is something he cannot do, not to worry about it.

Ulrika has no coordination, so she's asked LaToya to help with the choreography.

They will receive costumes and makeup for the performance.

I was giving this a spin today, to see what our reader reaction is and to see if I can get into this.

Mappy, I am sorry for all the questions, bare with me. The feeds have commercials?

I agree, Moody. They do seem to have more to do because of their tasks.

Coolio and Tommy created a game yesterday, much like our skeeball... they were rolling an orange across the floor, up a ramp made from a propped book or magazine. The target was a basket. They were all having fun.

I must admit that the one thing that bugs me about UK is the single camera. I miss being everywhere at once.

The celebrities are being very civilized, so far. Coolio, according to his DR sessions, is trying to keep things stirred up... he's all for drama.

Verne is a nice guy until he has a few, too many.

Tina or Coolio will blow sooner or later. They've have more than a few personality traits in common.

LaToya has amazing restraint but I can't see that facade staying in place the whole time.

The tension is slowly building. Too many egos not to have an eruption lol

I like La Toya, she seems rather bright to me.
