Wednesday's @ 10 pm.
I like this show, but to be honest, I don't see a lot that I would be "caught dead" wearing.

I watch Project Runway and all the other Bravo shows This coming weeks episode has me very curious, some sort of last minute twist gets thrown in, (love when that happens!)

Yep. I can't wait. I am really loving this show, I have to say it's one of my favorites as of late. The prom dress episode was so funny. I think I said this before but I have been watching the reruns a lot.

So did you all catch it last night? Trying to design around the models hairstyles was interesting. I really am not found of Christian's personality but he is a gifted designer. I am really thinking he and Jillian will be going to fashion week.

I fell asleep so I didn't see who won and who go the boot. I love Christian's personality! Jillian as well. It seems like this group has lots more talent than previous seasons. Designers, what do you think?

I got to watch the prom dress and the hair style episodes today on Bravo. And, I watched my first ever Housewives of Orange County, or whatever that show is called. It's been a Bravo day for me, in between shopping and baking.

I've just started watching this, and I LOVE it. Over the holidays I watched a marathon, and I'm hooked. I'm not sure there's a reality show out there that I will not get hooked on if I watch more than a couple episodes. Darn those marathons. I have to avoid them or I'll be watching Road Rules v. Real World in a heartbeat...and caring about the outcome. Really pathetic. But anyway, I'm glad about Project Runway because I think these people are really talented. It's amazing the stuff that they can come up with in such a short amount of time. My favorites are Christian and Jillian, but really, I like all of them, even the cry baby!
I usually agree with the criticism, but I thought it was a little weird tonight. I didn't really disagree with who they sent home, but I agreed with Christian's comment about seeing another tube dress, and I actually liked Jillian's coat. Since I'm new to the show, I was wondering if it has really launched any of the previous winners?

Lizabeth I am the EXACT same way. The marathons got me too. I never thought I would have much interest in this show but now I am totally addicted. I believe that previous winners and "losers'' have been launched but let me investigate this for you because I have been curious about it as well. I want to know who got the boot. I fell asleep (as usual). I

I never thought that they would send home Victoria, from the beginning she was a judges favorite. Just shows you never know. They usually complete a project every 2 days...last night she just looked worn out.

Between Victoria and Jillian, I knew Victoria would go though I thought Jillian'd design was worse last night. Jillian's designs have been consistently near the top until this episode. I do expect she will make the final 3.

Me too.. really surprised she is gone.
I thought for sure whe would be at least in the final four.
I LOVED sweetpea's outfit.
So my final four ( because I don't have any idea who will be the final three) are: Rami, Christian, Jillian, Sweetpea. I guess if I had to pick, the final three would be as listed.

Is the finale soon? I don't remember exactly how the end of this show works. They end with 3 and have them put together a line, right?
I'm happy with who we have left. I really like Christian's and Jillian's designs.

I think there should be 2 or 3 more shows before the finale. For the finale, each of the finalists have to create their own line of 10(?) outfits that they get to show during Fashion Week at Bryant Park. I read somewhere that they had all 5 of the remaining contestants show their line, so that we wouldn't know who the finalists were.

Last year the finale they did a final 4 ...perhaps thats why they are having 5 do a fashion line this year, with only 4 being in the running.
I am a little disappointed in this years cast, not sure why exactly. I do find it a little amusing that Christian is constantly commenting on his rivals "costuming" outfits, when in reality if you dressed in his clothes, you would be in a costume...from 1980. hehehehe Don't get me wrong, I think he is talented, just sense a real young kid who might get a huge dose of real world if he tries to market his designs.
I love this show, mostly because of Tim Gunn. He is such a perfect mentor and I love his voice (thanks to Santino...Wheres Andre!).

Spoiler:
Quote:
In an essay about the show, Salon’s Cintra Wilson runs down how the audience responded to each designer, and one comes out better than all the rest. Excerpts:
Sweet P: “The audience gave her a nice clap at the end that was very A for effort. It was clear they thought she was very sweet, but that nobody thinks this chubby girl with tattoos is actually going to win.”
Chris March: “The audience was glad for him, and rewarded him by bursting into spontaneous aaaaahs and applause at the sight of his first dress” Jillian Lewis: “While the Fashion Week audience was more than willing to acknowledge her talent, it seemed they just didn’t like her personality very much, making her the Hillary Clinton of ‘Project Runway.’”
Rami Kashou: “Rami, if we are to go by the audience’s dubious reaction, will also not win ‘Project Runway’ due to his not-quite-charming-enough personality. But he is a designer of outstanding skill.”
Christian Siriano: “The audience didn’t want to love him — he’s an awful bitch — but they couldn’t help themselves. He’s got the magic, and everyone knows it. He simply is a designer, while all the others are aspiring designers.”

So... five people go to Fashion week? Not so sure I agree with the article as far as personality goes. If they do like they have done in the past, the winner is not judged on personality... lol just look at last year.

Thank God this year there is no Jeffery. I personally could not take anyone like him winning again (something like BBs winner). It's hard enough to choose between 3 designers let alone 5, that sounds impossible. I also LOVE this show. Top Chef is a favorite but hard t taste the food. LOL
