After a miserable summer of BB15, I started BBAU on youtube. What a wonderful change! I love this format. I'm only on episode 8, the giggle/screamer sisters just arrived. I'm hooked!

I loved the idea of the halfway house but it was way underutilized in my opinion.
they were allowed to mix and mingle a lot.

Not sure where you are at - but they will change up the purpose of the half way house and in my opinion, they should have left it with that new purpose for much longer than they did. Trying not to give too much away Wink

Hi. I'm at the point where (week) they have the ice cream task. I'm actually really liking this version of Big Brother. I've never watching Australia's version. The only other version I've watched completely is BBCAN and BBUKCeleb.

Glad to have another watcher Phil. I have enjoyed for years. They didn't have a BB for one year. The station that carried it decided to quit. Channel 9 started it up again in 2012 but without feeds and more PG13 ish.

I agree with you KelliM, my favorite too. I especially like the interaction between housemates and Big Brother. I like their rules and that Big Brother enforces them. I also like that they have tasks to do (like BBUK) in order to receive a luxury food budget.

OK, I started watching tonight finally!!! Oh how I've missed BB Australia, it's been one long year. I had to finish Celebrity UK before I started Australia, I knew I would never go back to UK once I started watching.

This is so fun!! I love Ben, he's a hoot in his bull dog pj's and I love this "married couple" twist.

So far, so good!! I wish I was at the same point where the rest of you are, but I will just have to watch and not chat about it. I know I'm probably alone with this, but I'm not really a fan of Sonya (sp?), after watching Emma, no one compares, not even the Chenbot.

Does anyone know when the finale is?

Jack'd, the finale is in November, not sure when.  BB extended the show for an additional 2 weeks.  I haven't seen where they have reported an exact finale date....might have missed.

You better have some marathon watches and get caught up missy, you slacker. dancing banana

I like Sonya better than the last one that hosted, can't remember her name.

This YouTube user posts them all pretty quickly - that will take you to the current episode but you can search the back episodes on his page.

This one posts the daily updates that appear on the official site that we cant see from the USA.

Phil, Drew does remind me of Keanu Reeves!! As Janelle would say, Drew is dreamy. lol

There are comps. They have a showdown that begins the first week, I believe. It's over now but its a comp that affects nominations.

The housemates also have weekly food tasks.

Tully was a disappointment for me. I liked her in the beginning though.

I was just on the website and a housemate has walked. They said this person did it to save another. That means no live feed updates until the show airs on Monday.

Speaking of which, there is a site called behind big brother. There are no live feeds but the site posts clips and updates during the day. There is also a big brother Australia official facebook page, but you may not want to add it if you aren't caught up.

Hard to believe that it might be Nathan, who would he be saving? Oh, are you thinking he did it to save the 2 women intruders?

Phil, at the point you are watching showdown is on Thursday night and food tasks run for at least 2 days of the week and sometimes all five.

If it's him, I don't think he did it for any reason other than getting the heck out of there. From what we have seen, he wasn't really fitting in. Of course BB can spin things however they would like since we are basically unable to see what really goes on.

I think it's him too. It doesn't make sense for anyone else to walk after 2 months and both girls seem happy to be there.

Nathan made a comment on Thursday or Friday's show that it was hard for him to handle the mean things housemates said to each other; that is why he liked the Sugar Sisters so much.
