i often wonder how britney can make fun of someone's father...i know no one gets a pass in the BB house but I would just feel uncomfortable bashing someone who kids could be watching

It's his biological son, and stepdaughters (I'm pretty sure? Now that we're talking about it, I'm second-guessing myself whether they are all 'steps?') That can bring up all kinds of emotions, many of which Britney has lived out in her own life as a stepdaughter to a loving stepfather.

Britney also made fun of Joe by trying to mimic what his wife must think about him.

Joe has a beautiful family.

His brother spoke well. I actually hope Brit reads that article and realizes what a bitch she has been, but I highly doubt she would come to that realization. I think her "mean girl" persona is buried deep inside of her and she will never learn.

very early in the game, Janelle told Joe to slow down and not talk so much:)

Joe said, this is so much fun, he was enjoying all of it and the smile on his face was like he was addicted to the game.

I want to give a tip of my hat to Joe for being a stand up guy for Janelle. So sorry his family is being hurt by certain hg's who don't appear to have a conscience.

I loved seeing Joe's family. Best BB montage of family I can recall. Loved his wife. Yelling at camera, saying shave that thing off his face!

I enjoyed seeing Joe's family. His wife is cute and witty. I love that they all hate Boogie like I do. I was hoping he would win HOH this week and get rid of Boogie. I'm not sure the others will actually do it.

Could easily happen ... the QP plans on nominating him and a pawn (at least Brit does) and if Frank doesn't win POV she would backdoor and evict Frank but if Frank wins POV, evict Joe.
Oh well, Joe made it to jury which was his main goal so everything else is just a bonus I guess. (I can't see him winning so he might as well live in luxury for a week or two)

By the way, Joe's speech tonight was great. Gotta love a guy with a self-deprecating sense of humor.

yeah i saw on jokers dan said joe's speech was his favorite, what did he say...i ffw'd through it.

i just hate that joe was so happy this week with his choice and they are already fine with letting him go...on the other hand i keep worrying the guy is going to stroke out so maybe a vacation is what he needs.

It didn't really matter which alliance Joe chose ... he would have been at the bottom of the Frank/Boogie/Jenn etc. alliance as well.
Now he's in jury ... mission accomplished I guess.

Hey Joe... I learned a little trick from you by watching BB.
In the BB house they have a ceramic cooktop. When Joe was making some fajita's he put the tortilla directly on the burner to warm it.

Tonight I made burritos and instead of getting them soft in the microwave, I put them on the cooktop like Joe. It works great.

Nancy, that's how I warm tortillas too. I grew up in South Texas, near the border with Mexico and learned that little trick there. It's the best way to heat both flour and corn tortillas. They stay nice and soft.

You can also wrap them in foil, sprinkle a little water and/or butter on them and put them in the oven for a few minutes.

I did the oven a long time ago.. Microwave with a damp paper towel works too.

There's also a great tortilla cooker that's made of plastic for the microwave. It goes from microwave to table and looks cute on the table. It keeps them warm throughout the meal. I like it because it's quick and easy but still keeps the tortillas nice and soft. I love it too.

ETA: Thank you Nancy. . . I'm now craving some homemade enchiladas, beans and rice served with soft warm tortillas and chili con queso and guacamole. Wink Yum Yum! Very Happy You're a bad influence on me girl!

love Joe:) it is great everytime joe wouldn't shut up, I would remember a conversation him and Janelle had(he talked about it in the interview)
it was at the very beginning and Janelle was telling him to slow down ect....
and he looked at her and with a big shiteating grin on his face said he was haing so much fun:) Janelle had a big smile on her face and you could see that she knew there bwas no way to slow him down.

then last night ian was talking about day 3 and joe wanting to strategize all the time. it was very cute. he didn't win but he had fun just playing the game. which makes him a winner in my book.

Big Brother 14: Joe Arvin Eviction Interview
http://bigbrothernetwork.com/big-brother-14-joe-arvin-eviction-interview/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+BigBrotherNetwork+%28Big+Brother+14%29

Big Brother Network (BBN): Your allegiance in the game seemed to shift quite often. Who do you feel was your closest, most trusted ally in throughout the game?

Joe Arvin: Shane was the ally that I picked to stick with to the end. Side alliances just seemed to be a part of this season. Not many people stuck together as power shifted. With the coaches I was unable to make my real choices till week three.

BBN: You made it the farthest in the game out of the entire “Team Janelle.” Do you think your team would have survived longer if Janelle had stayed?

Joe Arvin: No – I think that there was too much gossip spread throughout the house about Janelle. I won’t know till the end what was true or false. For now I will believe in my coach.

BBN: If you had one do-over in the game this season, what would it be and why?

Joe Arvin: I sure would have never told Dan (I thought Shane) my conversation with Dan.

BBN: Who would you like to see in the Final 2 and, if different, who do you think it will be in the Final 2?

Joe Arvin: I would like to see Shane and Ian and I think if allowed Dan will make it far.

BBN: Thank you, Joe.
