I imagine the scarf is one that the women from Africa made and he touted. They are nice for women, not so much for men. And I am not a fan of the pointy hair look on any man. But he will always be handsome, this is just a glitch! lol!

yeah he has some sort of weird hat hair going on. Jeff's best pics tend to be the candid ones, not the ones he poses for. JMO. Still a good looking man!

I think his hair is not styled like it usually is (he usually gels it or something). Also, the white makes him look really pale (winter's curse).

Jeff has said he is taking his personal camera and will post pictures and videos but it's not for a show or anything. Zsolt (the guy from ATWFF) is going, too so I'd assume that the organization will make some sort of video out of it, too.

They've thrown out the date 2/2 a few times (which I remember because it's my birthday) but I'm not sure if that's when they leave or when they get there. It sounds like Jeff expects to have internet access while they're there.

This is a wonderful project for Cambodians. kudos to Jeff and Jordan for bringing attention to this and helping.

I wonder if JJ are aware that we have people living in the United States just like the people in this video?

All along the Texas/Mexico border there are communities of people living exactly like this who also need our help.

I'm sure there are many other communities in America who also live in poverty and could use our help.

Charity begins at home has always been my philosophy.

agree with both of your posts danceprincess and pdson2. I'm a huge Jeff and Jordan fan and followed Jeff's involvement during ATWFF. I gave them Kudos for helping the poor people of Cambodia. I wasn't being critical of them at all. I just wonder if they are aware that there are so many starving children and families living in poverty in the United States. I've seen areas exactly like the ones in the video above. It's heartbreaking. I've taught children like these.

Perhaps Jeff and Jordan don't know about the poverty like some of us who have lived in areas where extreme poverty is so apparent. I'd like to see them become involved and use their influence to help the people in our country as many celebrities do, such as Brad Pitt, Jon Bon Jovi, Oprah Winfrey and others. When a celebrity gets involved, major companies will often donate money and supplies to these causes. I think JJ would do this if they were made aware of the need. JJ are good people with huge hearts and are willing to help others who are less fortunate than they are.

Really cool project! It is a lot bigger than I expected.

I get what you're saying Shug too. I think someone even tweeted Alex, who did Missions in Action if he was gonna show the states some love and he said something like they have some plans to do something in the states, so it could be something else they are working on already?

All I know is Jeff said in the house a couple times that he wanted to get back to Cambodia to help out again and bring Jordan with him. The guy who runs the charity is from Jordan's hometown so they hit it off pretty good and they were asked to participate in the BAC.

Also, Jeff and Jordan are supposed to be meeting up with Supan in Bangkok before Cambodia, if you watched ATWFF he was one of the hosts that helped Jeff out a lot in Thailand.

I think charity begins when you see a need! I am an older woman living on social security and I am paying a water bill for a family who's father has lost his job. And will continue to do so until he finishes his training for a new job. If you see children in your community that need gloves and hats why not buy hats and gloves for them. J/J are giving of themselves, where ever they can. Jordan bought school clothes for a young child last Christmas (see interview on superpass last year) and they will be helping with a program that Jeff found out about at Sundance. And yes I know they are more able to do so than some of us are. But I would rather do without a few things and help someone out that is in need. Sorry, my rant is now over! This is why I don't post! And I can't type very well so excuse the mistakes.

Just do it - see something that needs fixing - fix it. gloves, hats, or a helping hand

PJ ITA with everything you said. What a wonderful thing you're doing to help this family!

We adopt a family from our local Angel Tree each year and buy gifts for the entire family. Without the Angel Tree, these children and parents would not have Christmas gifts. This last year we were blessed to get a family of 8. It was the best gift we received to be able to buy gifts for them.

We also donate coats, mittens, gloves, hats and scarves each year too Lori.

Our local Food Pantry always needs donations of everything from food to diapers etc.

There are so many people in our community who need help, especially with the economy like it is now. I wish we could financially do more than we do.

Good post, PJ. I agree..when one can help others, then they should. So many people here and in other countries need our help. Any kind of help is appreciated always by different organizations. For me, it is always hard to pick just 1 or 2 groups of people to help because so many are in need.
