Would you watch? and do you think you could learn about cooking from his show.

You can pick multiple answers in this poll so you can answer more than one option

To be honest I would watch the show because Jeff is hosting it.

I wouldn't watch Jeff cook, since the only things I saw him cook during BB was to marinate EVERYTHING. Also, I noticed he did not have much of a palette. He would be better as an adventure eater, trying out new things etc.... He just doesn't seem to know the basics yet. If he studied a bit, got some skills, then I would feel differently, but Right Now? nah....

I would watch it to see if I enjoy it. Like any other show, if it's good I'll continue to watch if not, I won't.

I'd watch for sure. I think he's funny and who knows I might learn something. I doubt it, not because I don't think I could or that Jeff wouldn't have any smart ideas but because I know all I want to know about cooking at this time. lol!

I would watch for his personality, not expertise. I think he'd make a good host of a cooking show with other guests (chefs, restaurant features, far-out foods, etc.) I actually think he would be ideal at some kind of tailgating show.

It might work. I know Marvin already has his own show but maybe he can have "guest" reality star cooks making their speciality. Janelle-Banana Bread, Dick- that chicken dish he made, etc.

gluedtothepc, the tailgating show is a great idea imo and Jeff would be perfect for that.

I guess I'd watch at least once just for curiosity's sake.
I wonder what his pitch is as far as the overall theme of the show?

Not interested in watching Jeff and I don't get why he needs a cooking show instead of... another type of show. Is he a foodie? Or does he just cook things sometimes? A Jeff travel show I get. Sports show - yes. Cooking show? I don't get it.

shrug

Not as if I'll be watching so whatever.

i think it's because he has been known to be a good cook in the BB house and HG's have made comments he should have a cooking show. I mean you never know, while i do love my fair share of cooking shows, i know i usually won't cook what i see them make, because well it's to complicated, so maybe a show with jeff being more a "real peoples" type cook/chef, could be interesting. I don't know.

I always thought jeff would be a good radio personality...

I voted that Yes, I would watch. I would love to see what he would bring. I am pretty sure that I would be laughing for much of it...especially if Jordan popped in from time to time. It would be even better if he'd mess up and curse. That would make it more like real life home cooks, and would be so Jeff.

Heck, I want to cancel my cable all of the time, but just can't. I need my Food Network, et al. I don't necessarily make what the chefs make on those shows, but they give me good ideas. I have learned a lot about different foods and cooking techniques.

I enjoy watching the Food Channel too, and I love the show Next Food Network Star. He won't be on Food Network. At least not as a cook.
He has little knowledge to give to people who are into that sort of thing. Some other type show... maybe. He seems, from my observations to be an average home cook. I will say this though.... I don't underestimate him. He might get something going in the business.

I agree with you...I hate to cook! So, no I wouldn't watch. I did catch an episode of the Chew last week and thought it was good...different from your average cooking show.

I refuse to watch The Chew, it replaced one of my favorite long running soaps. So, two strikes for ABC and The Chew.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that hates cooking. LOL. I guess we are the minority. I would rather do the clean-up. I am so very odd. lol!

I hear ya, Frances. I still will not watch Body of Proof because it replaced the Detroit show I loved!
