No, because I don't like a song, I'm young? Hmm..interesting.

I don't think it was because you didn't like the song that Moody wondered if you were young. It was the way you expressed it. Your post looks like it was written by my 14 year old niece - she calls things she doesn't like weird (and uses dramatic spellings of the word) and assumes people who don't share her perceptions are crazy or drunk. It seems quite natural to conclude that a young person wrote your post given the way it is worded.

On a positive note, maybe you are just young at heart. But for the record, I liked that song ALOT and I am neither crazy or drunk.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, skye282!! I was so disappointed when I saw the show ran over and I didn't get to see the end. How neat was that?!? I loved the last song, the way the group gathered around him, David A. by his side, the "sparklers" . . . just everything about the way the show ended. I'm so glad I got to see it!

I didn't like the George Michael song at first until I started listening to the lyrics. The lyrics got me, and George sang with so much emotion. I was very touched and teary eyed.

I'm also very happy "Cookie" won! dance

I forgot to add, I really enjoyed the Michael Johns/Carly duet. They complement each other's voice.

The Gladys Knight "pips" were hilarious, especially Jack Black.

I enjoyed the show and I was hoping david Cook would win. He's a little dreamy, no?
I loved the Gladys Night and the "Pips" performance! Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. had me laughing uncontrollably. Too much.

The Phantom of David Cook
http://tvfan.ew.com/blogs/post/1092 Click here to continue reading

For weeks now I've been trying to figure out what in the world it is about David Cook that made women age 30 and beyond become psychotically obssessed with him. It'd be one thing if we were tweens, or even co-eds or 20Somethings. But we're beyond that right? We've got careers, or families, marriages, etc. etc. But this Cook comes along and now he occupies at least 75% of my mind. I'm operating on minimal brain capacity and so can only perform basic body functions right now, like breathing. I hope my boss and husband won't notice. And I know I'm NOT alone. Seriously, we don't even get like this for George Clooney or Clive Owens. What the hell is going on?

I don't dislike David Cook, but I was disappointed David A didn't win. I thought he really did best job, and fit the whole AI image thing really well. David Cook is great and fun, and sorta seems like a reluctant winner. David Cook is just so "Coldplay" to me, good, but not very versatile.

I feel bad that David A. seemed to lose because of things out of his control...Randy gushing about him, Simon endorsing him, rumors about his father.... He is a very young guy, with HUGE talent, I really hope things go well for him. I could see him on Broadway someday, his voice is like an angel.

Just curious if anyone felt differently about David Cook when his mother rushed the stage in her age inappropriate clothing (maybe I am the only one who noticed that). I thought it kinda creepy when he would sing, she would stand up and dance alone. I get vibes about people and something seemed off to me....

Fun to see ZZ Top.

Carrie Underwood looked smoking ....she has really grown into a true Star.

That video of Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr. and the other guy (can't remember his name for the life of me!) as the PiPs w/Gladys Knight was funny!

Odd way to end the show with that downer song by George Micheal (whom I love).

Once again, a show gets a much deserved HUGE finale. DWTS got 2 hours, Survivor gets 2 + hours, Amazing Race gets 2+ hours.... Big Brother, barely 1 hour, lowest prize money and probably hardest game to play.... sigh.

When I hear his name it reminds me of Dane Cook..the things I'd like to do to Dane would probably do him in. David is younger, but has the same look to me..don't know.

LOL Nancy..you go! Very Happy

ITA. Watching her last night, she looked like a seasoned performer and bona fide star. And what i love about her is that even though she has totally transcended that American Idol title, she still seems proud to have been part of the show and grateful for what it's done for her, and she always comes back to perform (like for Idol Gives Back). Love her!

In Survivor, you have nothing to enterain you, you have to fight for a decent meal and succom to bug bites, endure the weather, be constantly dirty and stinky, and sometimes have life threatening infections because of the intense and difficult competitions they play. IMO living in a closed set for 3 months with people and so much downtime is much more challenging than 30 days of action. agree to disagree.
